Skullknight (Limited Edition - Silver Armor) This statue is actually one of my most rarest variants. It may not strike out at you right away, but unlike the normal edition's greenish-silver, this armor is pure silver. I thought this exclusive edition was a myth until I saw a fellow Berserk collector own one. Coincidently, a silver one popped up on Yahoo Auctions Japan a few months later and I won it. I emailed Art of War about this variant and its legitimacy, and they told me it's a VERY rare Japanese Toys R Us Exclusive. The statue was never sold directly through Art of War. The price tag is quite hefty for simply a different color scheme, especially since the normal edition is already a beautiful statue to begin with (I used to own one of them as well as a Glow-in-the-Dark variant). However, for me personally, after receiving my Skullknight on Horse (which is silver), I grew fond of the color and wanted to have a matching set. Now that I finally have it, I don't regret spending a single penny. It truly is one of my grail pieces. Another exclusive edition that is worth mentioning is the Green-Weathered version. This one is gorgeous and admittedly painted with more detail than my Silver one. The shield has these vein-like designs that span from one end to another, and the sword has bright highlights that go along the center of the blade. It's hard to describe but it's really a sight to behold. Kudos to anyone who owns that piece! In terms of the Skullknight statue in general, the piece is one well-sculpted figure! All the spikes and intricacies of the armor and bones really show that a lot of effort was put into making this statue. Art of War did a commendable job. EVERY Berserk statue collector should try their best to own one of the versions. It's Berserk at its best. Existing Versions
