Griffith: Hawk Soldier I know some people think that Griffith's helmet in the manga/anime is strange looking, but I personally love it. Lucky for me, Art of War did a great job emulating the helmet, and a mediocre job emulating his face. =P As I mentioned before with regards to the Casca: Hawk Soldier statue, I think Art of War shines best when they create models of darker, more rugged warriors... more so than "pretty" characters. The interchangeable head with no helmet looks good as a face, but it doesn't really resemble Griffith, or at least the way I imagine him to look. The statue looks great from most angles, but there is one where his hips and balance look a bit off. It's no real biggie though. Overall, this statue is a solid piece, and is one of the more easier statues to find, especially since Toycom re-released it. You should be able to find one of those releases quite easily on Ebay, and usually for under $100. The Japanese version, however, still sells for $150+. The difference between the two?
